A few weeks ago, the Criminal Justice club took a trip to a local paintball range. I was so excited, because I had never been paintballing before and wanted to mark it off my bucket list.
I was so nervous, because I was afraid of getting bruised. Thankfully, I wore multiple layers of clothes which kept me warm on that chilly Saturday as well as protected my skin from the paintballs.
My first strategy was to run inside a bunker and hide. Unfortunately, this didn’t work because I kept getting caught in the bunker. Thankfully, they instituted the 10 foot rule which meant they couldn’t shoot if they were within 10 feet, but they could still “tag” you out.
My second strategy was this: run as far as I can and hide along the outside of the bunker. This made it harder for my teammates because they had to run across the field and get others out while I just stayed behind. But, I ended up being on the winning team a few times and I managed to not get shot (except for once on my head, which hurt a lot) so I would call that a success.
Unfortunately, we were having too much fun to take photos so this is the only photo I have.
Have you ever been paintballing before?
