Many of my blog readers have asked what happened to my cats, Gracie and Frankie, now that I am married and living in Fort Knox. As of right now, they are happily staying with my mom until my husband and I move into our new house at the end of this month, at which time they will move to our new house. I miss my little furballs so much, so I go home at least once a week to spend the day with them. Gracie has turned into a bit of a “Grandma’s Girl” and is always at my mom’s side or in her lap. I think I may have been replaced! My mom has actually asked if she can keep Gracie “for Gracie’s sake”…. but we all know my mom is just going to miss having her little shadow! Meanwhile, Frank (who is an outside cat) is enjoying the nice weather and has actually lost a bit of weight from his newfound exercise. I’m happy they are in such great hands, but I can’t wait for them to join me at Knox. I know once Andy is away for work, they’ll keep me company and be my little deployment buddies.
When I was home last weekend, Mom complained about the stink from Gracie’s litter box. Since Gracie is still a kitten, her poo is especially smelly. Mom has to change Gracie’s litter box every single day because of the odor. I knew there had to be a better way, so I set out to determine to reduce the litter box stench once and for all.
