In college, I bummed off my sister’s fiance (at the time) until he got ticked that I was watching it more than him. Seriously, every day after class during my junior year of college was a binge-watching Army Wives marathon. If I needed a good cry, I just turned on the Army Wives episode “On Behalf of a Grateful Nation.” But since I’m now a grown-up making real money, I figured I can make that splurge. It’s certainly cheaper than the cost of one movie at the theater, and I can certainly talk and text my way through the show 🙂
The first show I watched after subscribing was Gilmore Girls. As most of my blog readers have heard of this show, it needs no explanation. 9 months later, I’ve finally made it through the series. I’m not even gonna lie, I cried when the town threw Rory a graduation/farewell party. It completely described my mom’s relationships with my sisters and me, and my mom’s relationship with her mom, and yes, sometimes my relationship with my mom (right now Momma and I are in a “Lorelai and Emily” stage.)
