My friends, I promised you a blog post about the wonderful dessert that I made with my friend Tory while visiting her Tennessee home. So without further ado, I present to you the recipe for Chocolate and M&M Pretzels, or what Tory and I like to call them, Little Pieces of Heaven (aka the dessert that the baking-challenged like myself can make.)
A bag of M&Ms (or Rollo’s or whatever chocolate candy you prefer)
A bag of Hershey’s Kisses (any variety)
A bag of pretzels (I prefer the Rold Gold Tiny Twist pretzels)
Parchment paper (for easy cleanup)
Put the pretzels on a cookie sheet lined with parchment paper and place one Hershey Kiss on top of the pretzel. Put the cookie sheet in the oven at 325 degrees for 2 minutes or until chocolate is slightly melted. Place an M&M on each “window” of the pretzel, pushing down the chocolate so the chocolate covers all of the pretzel. Put the cookie sheet in the freezer for about 15-20 minutes so the chocolate will harden. Remove from freezer and begin eating 🙂
Note: You will have extra M&Ms and pretzels left over. You could buy another bag of Hershey’s kisses to make more or just save the extra pretzels for a snack and add the extra M&Ms in cake frosting.
