I love reading. If you’re a regular face on the blog, you know that by now. Google knows I love reading as well, because when I checked to see what websites were similar to mine, they were all book-related websites. That’s just a bit discouraging, because I only blog about reading once or twice a month at most; the rest of the time I write other posts! Nonetheless, I’m at it again with my recent reads for the month of August.
The Good News about Marriage by Shaunti Feldhahn
One of the Few by Jason B. Ladd
This book is a Christian apologetics book by a former Marine fighter pilot. I love the study of apologetics, but sometimes I don’t really understand them. Thanks to the comparisons of Christianity with the military and aviation, I was better able to understand the deep theology presented in this book. I really, really enjoyed this book and it really made me think. It showed me how I can live a Christian life in a broken world. I think my husband would like this book as well! He’s not usually into Christian-based books, but the military aspect would definitely draw him in.
